PSGC Graduate Research Fellowship Program

Applications and two letters of recommendation are due on Friday, May 9, 2025.

NOTE: Direct funding from the NASA Pennsylvania Space Grant Consortium is restricted to U.S. Citizens. Applicant must be admitted to the graduate school at Penn State and enrolled as a full-time student. PSGC will award one-year fellowships in the amount of $5,000 per academic year to students who are engaged in graduate study related to the needs of NASA Mission Directorates that will lead to a masters or doctoral degree in the fields of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. All eligible graduate students are invited to apply, with award emphasis on, but not limited to, the following colleges: Agricultural Sciences, Earth and Mineral Sciences, Eberly College of Science, Education, Engineering, Health and Human Development, Information Sciences and Technology, and the Liberal Arts.

A primary objective of NASA's Space Grant Program is to recruit, train, and employ U.S. citizens, especially women, underrepresented minorities, veterans, and persons with disabilities, in NASA-related careers.
