Full Internship Description:
ADS CORPORATION - Internship at the Office of Naval Research (ONR) in Arlington, VA. 
The Intern will provide Program Management support for basic and applied research investment programs and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.) outreach at the Office of Naval Research (ONR) in Arlington, VA. 
 TASKS
 Financial Management:
•Prepare financial transactions, monitor, and report the funding status of projects by tracking the individual Commitments, Obligations, and Expenditures (COE) using Navy financial systems (ERP, NAVRIS)
•Create, edit, and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets to document financial data for each program

 Communications:
•Communicate programmatic information between program office, and government agencies, academic organizations, and other ONR departments 
•Gather input, attend meetings, and gain insight for use in preparing monthly reports of ongoing projects
•Manage the logistics and coordination of meetings and workshops including all aspects of agenda preparation, security requirements, equipment, and presentation materials 

 Administrative Operations:
•Provide general administrative support as required 

 QUALIFICATIONS
•Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
•Two (2) years operational/program support experience in a corporate, business environment
•Proficiency using Navy financial and information management systems (ERP, NAVRIS) or the ability to learn 
•Strategic thinking - ability to look ahead to the upcoming internship cycle and plan appropriately
•Ability to research and compile data to write and prepare professional quality briefs and reports using Microsoft Power Point
•Excellent skills using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
•Outstanding business communication skills (written and verbal)
•Proficiency in SharePoint or the ability to become proficient
•Ability to work in a self-directed manner and thrive in a fast-paced environment with varied deadlines and changing priorities
