The Materials Intern will be responsible for various Materials and Process Engineering functions within the Martinsville facility. Duties include: Assist with data collection & entry, material planning, process review and data analysis. A broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures will be applied to the research process. This position will report to the General Manager.

•	Responsible for learning and assisting with corporate materials policies and procedures.
•	Assists the General Manager & Process Engineers with day to day material research and recording duties. 
•	Learns the record keeping system and processing of orders through SAP.
•	Perform various material studies as directed by GM.
•	Gather data relevant to operational procedure or process development and perform statistical and other appropriate analysis required to resolve open issues.
•	Collects data and enters data into the system.
•	Will prepare and present to staff a PowerPoint presentation at conclusion of Internship on learning experience during internship at RTI Martinsville.
