AAC SpaceQuest is currently offering an exciting internship opportunity for a talented individual interested in cybersecurity. This unique role involves planning and integrating an Extended Detection and Response (XDR)/Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform, such as Wazuh or Splunk, with our existing systems in order to monitor, analyze, and act on cyber threats.

Responsibilities
The intern will be working closely with our engineering team to:
- Plan and implement an integration of an XDR/SIEM platform (such as Wazuh or Splunk) into our existing systems.
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and anomalies to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Develop and enforce effective security policies and procedures.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on the status and effectiveness of our cybersecurity measures.
 
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn about XDR/SIEM platforms such as Wazuh or Splunk.
- Knowledge of network protocols, system vulnerabilities, and cyber threat landscape.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
