The interns will design, integrate and create new test systems for semiconductor devices. New Layouts test circuits and prototype test systems. Will Integrate computer controlled test systems using C, Assembly and Labview. They will create python scripts and SQL to create test system, customer and product databases

Skills sought for the internship include: 

• Experience in computer test automation through GPIB or related interface schemes with knowledge of C++/C# in the Microsoft Visual Studio IDE highly desirable. Experience in other programming languages for lab instrumentation control will be considered (e.g. LabView). 
• Good documentation skills for systems and user manuals. 
• Printed circuit board layout using a CAD tool such as Eagle – Skills in implementing operational amplifiers and high power high speed switching transistors a plus. 
• Working knowledge of python to create scripts that automate tasks and interact with Microsoft and Linux based environment
• Working knowledge of SQLs (MySQL, Postgres, SQLite) for creating databases. 
• Experience in test and measurement instruments (such as waveform generators and scopes) as well as prototyping machine tools. 
• Ability to work with a team of engineers and scientists to generate system specifications, and to train users. 
• Ability to innovate and debug hardware and software in standard and non-standard test setups. 
• Self motivated and able to work flexible schedules with the ability to finish time critical projects according to schedule. 
• Attention for details needed for safety and quality of the systems integrated.
