Internship Title:Engineer - Manufacturing, Assembly
Brief Internship Description:
This position entails working in the Jigs and Fixtures area, assisting in the development and assembly applications for upcoming assembly operations. Engineering appliocations are required to coordinate requirements of the products into the design and developemnt of jigs and fixtures to enable assemblers to accurately duplicate parts and assemblies to close tolerances.
Full Internship Description:
This positrion requires proficiency in MS Office and AutoCad. The candidate must also be able to apply engineering concepts into the design and development of fixtures built to customer specifications. 

There will be opportunities to liaison with production, quality, and other engineer functions to research options for solutions to problems. The organization operates in a spirit of continuous improvement, seeking better ways to improve processes while maintaining functionality.

There may also be opportunities to work on lean concepts, seeking to identify areas where waste may be reduced and/or eliminated, and to assist the lean manager in plant-wide applications.
