As a member of MITRE's Cybersecurity Team, you will help develop, apply, and integrate advanced technologies and approaches to solve our nation's most critical Cybersecurity problems. (Req. 19449BR)
|Full Internship Description:||
Identify vulnerabilities, exploits, and mitigations related to mobile devices (tablets, smart phones, etc.), cloud computing, or continuous monitoring. Develop and experiment with tools to identify attacks, mitigate vulnerabilities, and/or take protective action. Document and present the results. Looking for undergraduate students: • Understanding of Information Assurance (IA) principles. • Security engineering, systems integration and hands on expertise with IA technologies. • Strong enterprise and network security architecture skills. • Strong analysis skills. • Excellent communication, writing, and briefing skills. • Experience developing software using C/C++, Java, scripting languages, etc., in a Linux environment. Desired Skills • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills. • Knowledge of DoD Information Assurance policy and policy enforcement mechanisms. • Ability to work well with government and MITRE technical staff, with limited supervision.
